FOR TEAMS

Make good judgment a team practice

You've invested in a technically strong team. They know how to do the work.

But some capabilities around the work are harder to develop and coach. Recognizing what may still be missing. Navigating stakeholder expectations. Knowing when an apparently clear request deserves another question and when the team knows enough to move.

Stop Solving Too Soon gives teams a practical way to strengthen those capabilities together, creating more consistent ways of thinking, deciding, and working with stakeholders.

What changes when teams work this way

Catch more together

Different people notice different things. Bringing those perspectives together helps teams surface gaps any one person might miss and share those observations with everyone else.

Build a shared language

A common language makes it easier to surface assumptions, expectation gaps, and questions that deserve another look without unpacking the whole thought every time.

Make good judgment transferable

When people make their thinking visible, others can learn from it. Teams can question, add to, and build on one another’s judgment instead of leaving valuable experience locked inside individual heads.

Build on what’s already working

Your team already has technical expertise, discovery methods, and established delivery practices. Stop Solving Too Soon adds a shared, repeatable way to recognize what may be missing and decide what deserves attention.

The practices are deliberately lightweight and designed to fit into your team’s existing work, including active projects, meetings, handoffs, and stakeholder conversations.

Ways to work together

  • Enroll your team in a public cohort

Give team members the opportunity to learn alongside other professionals and apply the approach to real work as they go.

Enroll three or more participants and receive a complimentary Leader Enablement Session to help managers understand what the team is practicing and reinforce it through follow-up questions, project conversations, and coaching.

  • Add private team sessions

Pair public cohort participation with private sessions focused on your team’s real projects, stakeholder situations, and decisions. We’ll use what participants learn in the cohort to examine what may still be missing, surface questions or trade-offs, and strengthen the thinking behind next steps.

We can also add follow-up sessions to reinforce the practice over time.

  • Host a private cohort for your team

Bring the full live program to your organization for a dedicated group.

Your team learns together, builds shared practices, and applies the approach to the projects and stakeholder situations they have in common.

I can see the difference in how my team shows up with stakeholders. They're getting to the real issue faster, and the conversations sound different.
